3.1.5's configure automatically tested for zlib, which was used only if
you enabled compression of db.docdb entries - it was a less critical part
of the package then. With 3.2, zlib is much more needed, but you can
explicitly build without it, if you can tolerate the huge word database,
by giving the --without-zlib option to ./configure.
