Hello Friends,
I am new to this list and am kinda facing some problems in installing the same on SUN SPARC 2.6

I have added packages required for htdig.
gcc-2.95.2-sol7-sparc-local.

after installing htdig I got errors like
# ./rundig
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/search/htdig/bin/htdig: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/search/htdig/bin/htmerge: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/search/htdig/bin/htnotify: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/search/htdig/bin/htfuzzy: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/search/htdig/bin/htfuzzy: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed

So again added package
libstdc++-2.8.1.1-sol26-sparc-local which is installed in /usr/local/lib

even after running the ./rundig I am getting the same error as it was comming earlier.
I checked the PATH, as it was not existing, I added the same and also chmod 777 to all the libstd* files.
Still I am facing the problem.

Being frustated I tried

./configure with --libdir=/usr/local/lib
option and ran the whole setup again.

Before I was getting 5 errors when I ran ./rundig now I am getting only 3.
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/htdig/htdig/bin/htdig: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/htdig/htdig/bin/htmerge: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed
ld.so.1: /net/services/infoline/doc/htdig/htdig/bin/htnotify: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or directory
Killed

The htfuzzy error has disappeared, but would be very happy if the program starts working ;-)
Actually I installed the program on my local linux redhat box and it went smooth and so decided to install the same on the webserver.

Can somebody help me with this please.

Thanks in anticipation.
