Subject: [htdig] external_parsers: ignored

Hi out there,
on my debian system I have installed htdig 3.1.5 an xpdf 0.90.
Apache 1.3.12 is running.
Because I would like to index some pdf documents (what else :)
I tried to set up htdig to parse them with
external_parsers: application/pdf /usr/share/htdig/parse_doc.pl
in /etc/htdig/htdig.conf
But it seems, that htdig totaly ignores this line when I try to
index the page on my localhost.
htdig -i -v 5 -c /etc/htdig/htdig.conf produces the following output:
New server: hobbes.noc.abacom.net, 80
0:0:0:http://hobbes.noc.abacom.net/: --+++-+------- size = 4300
1:1:1:http://hobbes.noc.abacom.net/rasa.pdf: PDF::parse: cannot find pdf parser /usr/local/bin/acroread
size = 207983
Anyone any ideas??
THX
