Well, there's certainly nothing magic about the number 1060 that makes
htdig stop there, unless you've set server_max_docs to that number.
Could you perhaps be a tad more specific about what happens when it
gets to this point? Does it abort, dump core, hang, generate garbage?
Did you run with one or more -v options to get more details about what's
going wrong? Did you try a smaller set of documents which includes the
one where the problem occurred before?
