If your web server is Apache, you need to designate your cgi-bin as a CGI
executable directory using a ScriptAlias directive, e.g.:

        ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/httpd/cgi-bin/

Thanks so much for your support. Even though some of my questions were
vague and not full, you managed to narrow down where my troubles might
possibly lay..and fix em. This is what newsgroups and that whole Open
software thingy are supposed to work...
