I would guess that you have index.php3 set as one of your
DirectoryIndex files, and some document somewhere on your site refers
to http://192.168.0.2/news/ without the "index.php3". In following
this link, htdig doesn't realise it refers to the same CGI script.
The remove_default_doc attribute does not apply to URLs that contain
CGI parameters, so it would seem that there's not much you can do about
this, other than hunting down and fixing the links that are missing the
