This is a general problem for *any* web robot, not only Ht://Dig.

Either you omit Jave and JavaScript for navigation (works with all
robots), have additional entries in the start_url directive of the
Ht://Dig configuration file (works only with your Ht://Dig) or you
put a <LINK REL...> in the <HEAD> section of your documents (works
with all robots that support HTML 4.0 navigational links).

Another portable approach would be to have a non-Java, non-JavaScript
site map.


PS: Most surfers I know of don't like Java anyway.. if a site has
    Java in it, they don't turn on Java in the browser but travel
    away - another lost customer, I'd say ;-)
