Frames are treated identically to links by ht://Dig. That is, it will
follow frame tags and index those pages as normal. The current release
will also add to the hopcount for frames, which could cause problems.

If you just want an excuse, you could point out that search engines like
AltaVista will be happy to return subpages without the frames. There was
a long discussion about this a week or so ago.
