[htdig] Compiling on AIX 3.2

I am trying to compile htdig on an old RS6000 running AIX 3.2.
The db library compiles fine and then I get:-

What is the warning about SPINLOCKS?

In general it looks as if I have made a serious error somewhere,
but I do not see it. Any ideas, folks?
