[htdig] Indexing a secure web server (SSL)

Hello HTDIG Users

I have read the maillist and found out, that indexing a secure web server
(SSL) isn't yet possible.

If this is still the truth than I could think about following approach:

- using a limited regular HTTP connection to indexing the webserver
- using a htsearch wrapper which substitutes http://x.y.z with https://x.y.z

How did you solve the HTTPS problem on your site?
