[htdig] compile problems

Hey folks,

my problem is not so much a compile problem (htdig compiles fine), but
when i try to run the htdig program, i get the following error:

ld.so.1: htdig: fatal: libstdc++.so. open failed: No such file or

i'm running a sparc machine with solaris 2.7 and, as far as i can tell,
the newest version of gcc, g++, and libstdc++ (well, i know they are - i
reinstalled gcc and libstdc++). i passed configure the
following command-line:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/etc/htdig-3.1.2 --libdir=/usr/lib
--mandir=/usr/local/man --includedir=/usr/local/include
--with-cgi-bin-dir=/export/home/www/cgi-bin --disable-zlib

i tried setting libdir=/usr/local/lib, but tht didnt help. also, i tried
with zlib, and that didnt remove the error. my "ld.so.1" is actually in
/usr/lib, and "libstdc++.so." is in /usr/local/lib.

i also changed configure to look for g++ first, rather than sun's c++, but
that didnt help.

i've had complete success on a solaris 2.6 x86 machine, so i'm not sure
what might be different (besides the OS and architecture, naturally).

i also tried 3.1.1 to see if it was a fluke in the version, but i got the
same error when running htdig.
