[htdig] indexes of directories

Hello ht://dig administrators. I am a new user of ht://dig and I
have installed just now version 3.1.1. Sorry to take your time
but I couldn't find an answer in the maillists.

I try to index a web site powered by Apache 1.3.4 (Solaris 2.5).
This version of Apache web server has the feature to sort a directory
index by name, modification date, size or description.

This apache feature is also shown by ht://dig output:
57:57:2:http://193.71.194.200/documentation/vp/?N=D: +******** size = 1048
58:58:2:http://193.71.194.200/documentation/vp/?M=A: *+******* size = 1048
59:59:2:http://193.71.194.200/documentation/vp/?S=A: **+****** size = 1048
60:60:2:http://193.71.194.200/documentation/vp/?D=A: ***+***** size = 1048

Apache logfile:
gondwana - - [17:46:26 +0100] "GET /documentation/vp/?N=D HTTP/1.0" 200 1048
gondwana - - [17:46:26 +0100] "GET /documentation/vp/?M=A HTTP/1.0" 200 1048
gondwana - - [17:46:26 +0100] "GET /documentation/vp/?S=A HTTP/1.0" 200 1048
gondwana - - [17:46:26 +0100] "GET /documentation/vp/?D=A HTTP/1.0" 200 1048

This feature shouldn't be used by ht://dig because when the keyword I'm
searching for is also a subdirectory this directory will be shown at least
four times.

Question: how did ht://dig recognize this apache feature and how can
I disable it in ht://dig (I'd like just a "GET /documentation/vp/")?

Thank you very much for any hint.
