Hi.

It may be that I missed something, but having two URLs in
start_url seemed to work for me with 3.1.0b4. So it looks like
the TODO list needs to be updated:

*** /home/hp/htdig/cvs_latest_pure/maindocs/TODO.html Mon Nov 23 19:19:08 1998
--- ./TODO.html Wed Dec 30 04:25:54 1998
***************
*** 30,38 ****

      <ul>
        <li type="disk">
- Start htdig with multiple start documents.
- </li>
- <li type="disk">
          Allow attribute references in the values of other
          attributes
        </li>
--- 30,35 ----

 *Or,*
do you mean that multiple URLs to sets that *overlap*
currently does not work? Then I guess the following patch would
clarify matters:

*** /home/hp/htdig/cvs_latest_pure/maindocs/TODO.html Mon Nov 23 19:19:08 1998
--- ./TODO.html Wed Dec 30 04:28:18 1998
