I'm running now
htfuzzy -v -v -v -v -c htfuzzy-de.conf endings

As I said, the first 20 000 words are handled fast .... aaah I see, these
are the German nouns. Verbs an adjectives are very slow, probably due to
complicated German grammar rules. So no htfuzzy bug, but German language
bug :-?
