Andrew:

We are currently undergoing Year 2000 compliance testing against all
products we use for Internet and Electronic Commerce development here at
Addison Wesley Longman. Although we have been able to locate compliance
statements on your product(s) (listed below) from your corporate web site,
we need more information regarding the testing efforts your company has
undertaken to ensure your product is Year 2000 compliant.

Please forward any and all documentation you may have on your Year 2000
compliance testing. Please include the test strategy, test plan (including
test criteria), and overall Y2K project plan for the product(s) listed
below. Please provide documentation even if your product testing was
against a version not listed. Specifically we are interested the following
areas of Year 2000 compliance testing -- date entry, date display, date
manipulation, and date passing and receiving.

Due to the encroaching new millennium we have plans for our own Year 2000
testing, the information you provide will assist us in our own endeavors.
If possible, please submit the requested information by August 15th, but no
later than August 31, 1998.
