htdig: setting the HTTP_ACCEPT variable

Hello,

I am using htdig to index pages generated on the fly by a program (HyperNews)
that checks if there are strings like image/gif or */* in the HTTP_ACCEPT
variable.

Htdig doesn't set the variable and HyperNews decides to send htdig a url that
ends in .html?nogifs

One problem is that urls that have the .html? pattern must be in my
exclude_urls var in the config file.

I modified HN to check if htdig matched in HTTP_USER_AGENT, and then behave as
if HTTP_ACCEPT had the strings it wanted. It works, but I would like to know
if there's a way to make htdig set the variable.

Thanks,
