Hi,
I'm running an incremental update every week on all our campus
web servers. Recently one of our webmasters reported a strange
thing. htdig tries to access a page (which was deleted weeks ago)
and then appends a "/" and tries to access the html file as
a directory. (?)
-snip-
>sinfo.hrz.uni-siegen.de - - [19/Oct/1997:02:14:12 +0200] "GET /pc4.htm HTTP/1.0" 404 -

-snap-
This happens at least on one web server (Apache) for some 10 pages.
Is this a bug or a feature?
ciao...
