Subject: [htdig3-dev] Limiting to "max_docs" instead of "server_max_docs"

I'd like to patch Server.cc or Retriver.cc so that it recognizes a variable
called "max_docs" (not server_max_docs) that will limit the TOTAL number of
pages crawled, independent of the server.
In Retriever.cc, I see where "index++" occurs and I'd really like to axe
the crawling there, but I'm not sure how I can make a graceful exit at
that point.
Any help is appreciated!
