With Apache, you don't need the .cgi suffix if you install htsearch in
a directory defined with a ScriptAlias directive in srm.conf or httpd.conf.
In any other directory, you need the suffix. In either case, it shouldn't
be a problem. Only the initial search form refers to it, as Geoff pointed
out. In follow-up searches, htsearch remembers the name by which it was
called (SCRIPT_NAME environment variable), and passes this along to the
follow-up search form and page button URLs.
