I'm using htdig as the search engine for our site. I want to put the search
form in one frame and display the results in another. The documentation
doesn't cover frames...any suggestions?

As Geoff mentioned, you can target your form from the nav frame to the main
frame. The htdig site does this http://www.htdig.org/ But indexing a highly
framed site is very difficult because the search engine cannot recreate your
frameset. If you really need to do something like this, I have developed
some javascript that will automatically recreate complex framesets:
