Hi,
A few months ago I posted some debugging data regarding 'hangs' at the
beginning of the dig when htdig is running through the list of domains that
I have listed in the .conf
Intel platform
dual 450's w/500 meg of ram
Redhat linux v6.0
I just upgraded to htdig-3.1.4 (from 3.1.3) which I was hoping would fix my
'hang
problems' when doing a dig and hitting unresponsive domains.
As it goes through the domain list, I see it reporting "unknown host" and
"unable to build a connection" errors and moving on to the next domain -
which is a good thing :)
domains that are still hanging the digging process are domains that are
assigned to a server, but there is no response. For example:
www.esevans.com
www.exit111.com
www.findlaymba.com
www.chris-tec.com
If you need any other data, please let me know :)
