Yes, your linking line does not refer to -lz. So you're correct when
you say it has to do with zlib/compression. Loic and Marcel? Does the
code check for zlib and ignore it?
On the other hand, if you've gotten all the way to the tests, it's a
generally good sign since everything else compiled OK.
