I tried running htdig on a single (large) host, after 3000 pages or so
it
died with a SIGPIPE on the write where it ouptputs the request to the
server,
this didn't happen when I ran with "persistent connections" set to
false.
I assume that the server is eventlually deciding to drop the connection
and there is nothing catching the SIGPIPE from the write.
