It knows the simple syntax and advanced syntax. If you already did the
job for simple query, you may not want to switch to Text-Query if you don't
care about advanced syntax. If you want the parsing and do not want to
bother writing code and maintain it, you'd better use Text-Query.
Besides, Text-Query and Text-Query-SQL clearly separate the query process
steps (parsing the expression, building the query using the appropriate
syntax for the backend search mechanism, applying the resulting query
to a dataset). If you want to use these modules for htdig you only have
to write the appropriate driver and forget about the rest. Drivers already
exists for lists of strings, MySQL and Fulcrum.
