It sure is a *very* difficult thing to write afterwards. Because of
that I write the test suite after writing a new class or program, just
to make sure it works as expected. Obviously it always contains a lot
of bugs :-) It's much easier to test a new piece of code from a test
suite instead of manualy trying to make it work. It's a bit harder but
when you do that you know that the next time you add something to your
code, the tests are mostly ready to run.

That will fit very well. Are you writing tests in the test directory
while debugging this ? If not I strongly encourage you to do so right
now :-)
