It was on redhat linux V6 , kernal v2.2.5-15smp (I386 version) w/dual 450's
& 512Meg/Ram

It hangs on hosts that you get a "timeout" on, and on "unknown host"'s

The other "oddity" I ran into involves how I end the .conf file.... If I
end it with:
http://www.site.com<space><cr>
<space><eof>

(empty line at end of config), it runs as if it doesn't have a .conf file &
uses defaults.

If I end the .conf file like:
http://www.site.com<space><eof>

then the .conf file is properly read and utilized.

The bt is very informative. We'll obviously take a look at that
section of the connection code. For everyone's reference, what was
the platform that this was run on?
