[htdig3-dev] Error Handling

       Hi,

       Some error are reported on stderr, others on stdout. Is there
a rule for that ? I'd say that all errors should go to stderr for
consistency. And to make sure they're not buffered because it can be
very misleading when the process crashes (error messages not seen).
