It's been a frustrating, but productive afternoon. Right now, the CVS tree
should have htmerge(words) and htsearch working finally. Some of the fuzzy
algorithms may still be broken, but it's much more usable. By this evening,
I should have finished debugging actual phrase searching in htsearch.
However, to get things working, I had to cut out some stuff.
* My Server change from yesterday: it's not important enough to waste time
debugging it. The HtHeap code is still buggy.
* No longer using HtPack on the word DB: Somehow I'm not getting what I put
in. I put in sizeof(WordRecord) = 20 and get back 16. I don't know enough
about how they work,
* I'm still doing an Open/Close for every call to Flush(). Didier's hint was
very helpful, but I also don't have the time to dig around for the problem.
I've set a deadline of this snapshot (midnight PDT) to get fully working
phrase searching, so I don't have the time to debug these. But these should
be in a 3.2.0b1 release, so we have a fair amount of debugging in the coming
