Hi,

I've build (and deleted last week, sorry for the bench) a test database
indexing all the web servers on my domain (unice.fr) starting with
www.unice.fr

the indexing took almost 2 days and the database directory took between
400 Mb and 500 Mb on a Sun Sparc 20 with 64 Mb of RAM (I think it's a
SuperSparc cpu @ 50 MHz, but I'm note sure) running RedHat Linux 4.2

The searching were relatively fast (less than two minutes on my tests)
considering the size of the database and the machine running htsearch, and
the fact that this machine was probably also running different other
programs at the same time.

htdig was a 3.1.0b4

bye,
