Yes and no. We already have the locale attribute. So we just need to use
that in htnotify to pick the current locale for date formats. Maybe it's
not that easy, but that's another release. :-)

Or you start off with a few patches and bug fixes and you step forward to
be maintainer. :-) BTW, I already took one patch from Gabriele, the very
nice cleanup to the template code. So you're well on your way.

I took this one, mainly because it was slightly cleaner and more flexible.
