The geoupdate.sh and ungeoify.sh scripts in this directory give a working
example of how we update our index of the Geocrawler archives on a daily
basis with minimal overhead, as well as how we strip out unwanted content
from both the Geocrawler and older hypermail message archives.

A lot of messages on the mailing list have asked about one or the other
of these two challenging problems when indexing mailing list archives.
I think this is a reasonably tidy, flexible and configurable solution to
both problems.  I hope they serve as useful examples for others.
